Rationalism

Lately I am convinced that conservatism, liberalism, libertarianism...all of these philosophies are basically passe'. I belive in rationalism. What is this you may ask? I'll sum it up in ways that are clear and descriptive:

Rationalism is:

-Aware that: this is the best country on earth...BUT it does have problems.

-Sick of pretending Islam is a 'religion of peace' when we have millions of examples to the contrary.

-Modern Christianity is neither Christian or spiritual.

-Man is NOT inherently good.

-Politics are not ALWAYS corrupt.

-Just because you HAVE some social programmes does notMEAN you are a socialist shithole.


Rationalism believes that:

-Fun is not evil.

-Relative morality is absolutely wrong.

-Absolute morality without ANY compromise is absolutely insane.

-Bad people need to die pretty much, AND fuck a bunch of rehabilitation.

-Marijuna is NOT the worst thing you can do to yourself, nor should it be criminal in and of itself.

-Dogs are really cool, but cats blow pole.

-You put yourself into the positions you find yourself in.

-God does not PUNISH this nation by slamming fucking planes into buildings. People that believe that need to be removed from the gene pool.

-God loves you, but he also has a sense of humor.

-Jeee-Shus does not pay your rent.

-If you hate something don't take part in it. Or live within its confines.

I'll add more as time goes on but I am a rationalist.
